On May 10th, Alain Régnier, the head of the Inter-Ministerial Delegation for the Reception and Integration of Refugees in France, welcomed 14 human rights activists from around the world to a luncheon at the building of French Ministry of the Interior.
ফ্রান্সে শরণার্থীদের অভ্যর্থনা ও একীকরণ বিষয়ক আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় ডেলিগেশন মেরিয়েন ইনিশিয়েটিভ ফর হিউম্যান রাইটস ডিফেন্ডার্স বিজয়ী মানবাধিকারকর্মীদের অভ্যর্থনা জানিয়েছেন। গত ১০ মে (মঙ্গলবার) ফ্রান্স স্বরাষ্ট্র বিষয়ক মন্ত্রণালয় ভবনে সারা বিশ্ব থেকে আগত ১৪ মানবাধিকারকর্মীকে মধ্যাহ্নভোজে অংশগ্রহনের মাধ্যমে অভ্যর্থনা জানানো হয়।
During the event, Mr. Régnier delivered a welcome speech and briefed the activists on the objectives, goals, and activities of the Inter-Ministerial Delegation. The event also featured a question-and-answer session, during which the activists had the opportunity to engage with Mr. Régnier and learn more about the delegation's work.

At the conclusion of the luncheon, a picture of Marianne, the iconic symbol of the Republic of France, was presented to the human rights activists on behalf of the Inter-Ministerial Delegation on the Reception and Integration of Refugees.
এসময় ফ্রান্স শরণার্থীদের অভ্যর্থনা ও একীকরণ বিষয়ক আন্তঃমন্ত্রণালয় ডেলিগেশন পক্ষে থেকে মানবাধিকারকর্মীদের ফ্রান্স প্রজাতন্ত্রের প্রতিকী ব্যক্তিত্ব ম্যারিয়েন এর ছবি উপহার প্রদান করেন।
Advocate Shahanur Islam, a prominent Bangladeshi human rights activist and lawyer, was among the attendees, as the first and only winner from Bangladesh of Marianne Initiative for Human Rights Defenders.
বাংলাদেশের বিশিষ্ট মানবাধিকারকর্মী ও আইনজীবী অ্যাডভোকেট শাহানূর ইসলাম মেরিয়েন ইনিশিয়েটিভ ফর হিউম্যান রাইটস ডিফেন্ডার্সে বাংলাদেশ থেকে প্রথম ও একমাত্র বিজয়ী হিসেবে উক্ত অভ্যর্থনা অনুষ্টানে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
Other officials from the Marianne Initiative also attended the event, including President of Marianne Initiative Madam Laura Lohéac, Secretary General Madam Anne Souléliac, project head Camille Zalmanski, project manager Louise Le Rhun, Group SOS Solidarity project officer Agathe Loummalia, and assistant project officer Ingy Khalil.
